Have you got your package?

Wow, the 5th came around really quickly didn't it?*

Everyone should have received their packages by now, but I know that there are a few that are either:
a) In transit. Be patient with the postal service.**
b) Almost posted. I know one or two people are waiting for deliveries of things for their treatee.

If your treatee hasn't received their package from you yet could you please let them know that it is on the way and they haven't been forgotten. If you can't contact them please contact one of us so that we can pass it on.

If you have received your package please could you make sure you've let your treater know that it's arrived safe and sound. Of course, I wouldn't need to remind anyone that it's polite to say thank you now, would I?

If you haven't received a package or heard from your treater that it's on the way please let your enabler know so that we can follow up.

Hopefully we won't need any angels to send out an extra package, but just in case, if anyone would like to offer please do and we'll let you know if it's needed.

Phew. A long post this. Just need a sip of my tea...

OK, finally. Nominations for Best Treater will stay open until Friday 10th May.

Thanks a million everyone, the exchange has been great fun and it's been great to see so many wonderful packages!

*Yes, I do know I'm posting this on the 4th.

**As an example, my postie never delivers packages. They're supposed to attempt delivery twice, and leave a card on the 2nd attempt. Instead they hang onto it for a day or two to pretend they've tried, and then leave the card, then I need to go collect it, but it's difficult to get to the collection point and make it to work on time so I can't always go right away. Plus, it's a Bank Holiday here in Ireland and also in the UK (yes, they are completely different countries, you know, like America/Canada, or Australia/New Zealand). This means that in theory while my package may be waiting for me right now I won't find out about it until Tuesday evening, and won't be able to collect it until Wednesday.

Hmm....so if you're posting this on the 4th, then may we ask while it's still spring whether there will be a KTE2 in the autumn? (Imagine me grinning right now...)

Please let me know if you need anyone to fill in at the last minute. I would be happy to do so. Don't want anyone to be left out. U.S. only on this one, please.

Cheryl: We'll see :-)

Sue: Thanks!

Sari: Your details aren't in your comment so I'm not completely sure who you are - if you could email us so we know who to chase we'll look into it.

While I haven't received my package yet, my treater e-mailed me a week ago to say it was on its way. So hopefully early next week it will arrive. My treatee has hers and I've heard from her both on her blog and very kindly she e-mailed me too.

I have to say this was one of the best swaps all the way around (and I am swap addicted so I can say that, LOL) You were wonderful hostess, BRAVA!

If you need angels, I think you already know I have volunteered.

If you decide to do it again or not, it will still go down in on the books as one of the best :-)

Ya'll go and look at the fantastic treat I received from my partner. It is a super package and she must have spent a lot of time and effort, and expense putting it together.

I do think a KTE2 would be fun - I'd be happy to help host, I enjoyed this one, and between the great friend I made in my Spoilee and the great package I received, and the friend I'm making from a friends spoilee who is now my spoilee in another swap (got that?), I would love another :)

I like the 1-time, no knitting required, just make your pal feel great kind of swaps! :D

Cheryl is already asking about the next swap whilst her parcel is still winging it's way to her.....that's faith! But I hope she won't be disappointed.

My package has arrived (and how so!!) but I have not heard if my partner has received the package I sent (nearly 2 weeks ago).

Will there be a 2nd round??

Is anybody else experiencing this kind of delay with their packages. My poor Treater sent my package, I think from the US, to me in Ireland on Sat April 28th last and it still has not arrived. She has e-mailed me twice and is really upset that it has not arrived. It seems like a long time.

I mailed my package overseas last week, Global Priority. Hope it gets there soon. I have not received a package or heard from my treatee since the initial contact a month ago.

I'd like to nominate Ann of Knitting Kitties for fabulous treater! She put in a lot of thought and effort, and even shipped locally-made treats! You can see the details on my blog, Knitting Into Oblivion.
